Honest Originals is a browser extension that scores Etsy™ shops using public information. Here is everything it collects and does:

What we receive

When you browse etsy.com with Honest Originals installed, the extension sends shop IDs, listing IDs, and (for Pro deep checks) non-reversible image fingerprints to our server to retrieve or compute scores. That's all.

What we never receive

Your identity (unless you create a Pro account), your browsing history, page content, or anything from any website other than etsy.com — the extension cannot run anywhere else.

Pro accounts

If you subscribe, we store your email address and subscription status. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see your card details.

Cookies & tracking

The extension contains no analytics or ad trackers. If you click a labeled recommendation, Etsy's affiliate program (operated by Awin) sets its own cookie on etsy.com per its policy.

Data sales

We do not sell or share user data. Ever.

Retention & deletion

Shop scores are cached server-side and are not user data. Pro account data is deleted on request: privacy@honestoriginals.com.

Changes

Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
